Old, new, borrowed, blue

It's funny how I expected this meeting to be one thing, and how it turned out to be the exact opposite. Though I consider myself a realist, I honestly thought something would come out of this nine year journey. But, nothing. Barely even able to hold a conversation anymore.

It's alright, though. I guess this was a good learning experience and, though I feel a little sad saying it, that's just what you've turned into.

Eh'. It's been fun--great, actually--but time brings distance. "You're all growing up and changing so fast," is what my mom used to say.

I'm finally starting to agree with her.
